CLOGGING THROUGH TIME

2009 Recital Information Coming Soon!

Celebrating 10 YEARS!!!

The Sims Country Cloggers hold a yearly recital to showcase what we learn throughout the year and to recognize our dancers!  What a great recital we had this year!  I am so proud of all our dancers!  You guys looked great!  Below are some comments and pictures from the recital that was held on January 12, 2008.  Below are some comments from Parents & Fans:

Jill,
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Saturday.  I thought the
recital was awesome!  Katie had such a wonderful time that she is
already asking when her next recital will be!!  Thanks for all of your hard
work. ~ Lisa McRary, Katie's Mom, Kids Clog 2

I don't know if you realized this or not, but the auditorium was almost full and it holds either 950 or 980.  That's a great turn out.  I appreciate all of your hard work that you put into the recitals.  I'm not crazy about dancing in front of other people, but maybe one of these days I'll get over that.  ~Crystal Murphy, Adult Intermediate, ACHS Employee (Crystal, you were a tremendous help at the recital and we REALLY appreciate you!!)

Hi Jill.  I pray that you were able to rest some after Saturday.  We
greatly appreciate all the hardwork and dedication you put into clogging,
the studio, and the recital.  It was wonderful! Seeing the other cloggers and their routines encourages and inspires.   When I watch cloggers in more advanced classes, I long to learn more and practice harder.  Obviously, I may never compete at their level, but
I do wish to know more about the "sport." I have thoroughly enjoyed
clogging.  Sydney and Katelyn love it too.  It has given us something
special.  It is great fun!  And I am thankful for the beautiful people
clogging has brought into our lives.
Melissa Davis, Adult Intermediate Class

Natalie had a great time at recital and was very proud of her award. Thank you so much for making this such a great experience for her. You did an awesome job with everything!! Debbie Coffey, Natalie's Mom, Intermediate Saturday

Thanks!! The recital was great.  Hannah really enjoyed it. ~ Michelle Hamby, KC1 Tues.

Hi Jill - I'm sorry I didn't get to come to the recital, but you sure made Alena's day.  She is so excited about the trophy with her name engraved on it - it is on our mantle, front and center.  Also - she couldn't stop talking about getting her name called to receive the trophy - she sure felt special.  What a great recital - all  about making the kids feel good about themselves!! ~ Elizabeth Powell, Alena's Mom, Intermediate 1 Sat.

...but congratulations on 10 years of teaching. I thought this recital was the best yet!  They get better and better every year.  ~ Deb Greene, Danielle's nana, PW Team

I just wanted to say that I thought it was very well organized on Saturday. I liked there not being so many people on the sidelines. Looking forward to the new class and my next sparkly outfit. ~ Robin Moretz, Adult Intermediate

DIDNT GET TO WATCH MUCH OF THE RECITAL AS YOU KNOW BUT I HAD THE BACK STAGE POINT OF VIEW.  I WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE THAT HELPED ME BACK STAGE WITH LINING UP ALL THE KIDS, ESP AMY.  EVERYONE DID A GREAT JOB AND THE KIDS WERE GREAT. PARENTS, THERE WAS A LOT OF WORK THAT WENT ON BEHIND THE SCENES AND THE "HELPERS" DID AWESOME. ALL THE KIDS WERE VERY POLITE AND WELL MANNERED. A LOT OF THE KIDS, I DIDNT KNOW FROM ADAM BUT IT DIDNT MATTER, THEY DID AS THEY WERE TOLD AND I THINK THAT SHINED ON STAGE. COMMENTS FROM EVERYONE WAS THAT THE SHOW WAS AWESOME. WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALLOWING US TO BE APART OF YOUR CLOGGING FAMILY. SYDNEY LOVES YOU SO MUCH AND I THINK THAT YOU HAVE MADE THAT DIFFERENCE IN HER LIFE IN THE PAST 5 1/2 YEARS TO MAKE CLOGGING HER PASSION.  I THANK YOU FOR THAT.  SHE REALLY HAD A GOOD TIME HANGING OUT BACK STAGE WITH ALL OF HER FRIENDS AND I THINK IT HELPED ALL THEM JUST RELAX AND NOT BE SO NERVOUS.  THE COSTUMES WERE AWESOME AND I THINK THAT IT MADE A HUGE STAGE IMPACT FOR YOUR RECITAL. I CANT WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR BECAUSE YOU JUST GET BETTER AND BETTER.  YOU SHOULD BE SO PROUD OF ALL THAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED AT THAT STUDIO AND THE NUMBER OF KIDS AND ADULTS YOU HAVE THAT LOVE AND ADMIRE YOU. IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO RUN A BUSINESS/STUDIO FROM YOUR HEART AND NOT YOUR WALLET AND THAT SHOWS IN EVERYONE ONE OF THE STUDENTS THAT PERFORMED ON THAT STAGE.  YOU GO GIRL! ~ Kim Jones, Sydney's Mom, Pee Wee Competition Team (Kim, thank you for all your help!!!  You had a big hand in how smoothly things went back there!  Thank you for everything!, J)
