CLOGGING THROUGH TIME
2009 Recital Information Coming Soon!
Celebrating 10 YEARS!!!
The Sims Country Cloggers hold a yearly recital to showcase what we learn throughout the year and to recognize our dancers! What a great recital we had this year! I am so proud of all our dancers! You guys looked great! Below are some comments and pictures from the recital that was held on January 12, 2008. Below are some comments from Parents & Fans:
Jill,
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Saturday. I thought the
recital was awesome! Katie had such a wonderful time that she is
already asking when her next recital will be!! Thanks for all of your hard
work. ~ Lisa McRary, Katie's Mom, Kids Clog 2
I don't know if you realized this or not, but the auditorium was almost full and it holds either 950 or 980. That's a great turn out. I appreciate all of your hard work that you put into the recitals. I'm not crazy about dancing in front of other people, but maybe one of these days I'll get over that. ~Crystal Murphy, Adult Intermediate, ACHS Employee (Crystal, you were a tremendous help at the recital and we REALLY appreciate you!!)
Hi Jill. I pray that you were able to rest some after Saturday. We
greatly appreciate all the hardwork and dedication you put into clogging,
the studio, and the recital. It was wonderful! Seeing the other cloggers and their routines encourages and inspires. When I watch cloggers in more advanced classes, I long to learn more and practice harder. Obviously, I may never compete at their level, but
I do wish to know more about the "sport." I have thoroughly enjoyed
clogging. Sydney and Katelyn love it too. It has given us something
special. It is great fun! And I am thankful for the beautiful people
clogging has brought into our lives. Melissa Davis, Adult Intermediate Class
Jill and AJ, I just got home from the recital and wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed it!!! You did a great job, Aunt Susan Brown
Just wanted to let you know how much Emily & I enjoyed the recital Saturday. The young ones were adorable as usual & the competition teams were great also. And Emily & I both loved the outfits! You put a lot of time & thought into this one & it showed. ~ Donna Harmon

Hi Jill - I'm sorry I didn't get to come to the recital, but you sure made Alena's day. She is so excited about the trophy with her name engraved on it - it is on our mantle, front and center. Also - she couldn't stop talking about getting her name called to receive the trophy - she sure felt special. What a great recital - all about making the kids feel good about themselves!! ~ Elizabeth Powell, Alena's Mom, Intermediate 1 Sat.
